Midyear exams begin (and end) this week, so my schedule's a bit hectic and looks like this:
- Tuesday: Calculus AB Honors from 8:30 to 10:00 and Ethics from 11:00 to 12:30
- Wednesday: British Literature Honors from 8:30 to 10:00 and Spanish IV Honors from 11:00 to 12:30
- Thursday: No exams scheduled (to be read: "Study for Physics the entire day.")
- Friday: Physics A from 8:30 to 10:00 and AP European History from 13:15 to 14:45
- Saturday: The SAT from 8AM to noon.
Having completed the Calculus AB exam today, I'm torn between two primary study options. The SAT is a major deciding factor in college acceptance, though I can take the SAT multiple times. As I'm hoping to pursue a computer engineering major, the sciences are important to my chances of being accepted to a technologically-oriented university. Seeing as Chemistry Honors last year turned out much worse than I'd hoped for, I'd like to at least cancel out last year's effect on my grade average if I'm unable to make up for it. The Physics A exam counts as two-thirds of a quarter grade, and I can only take it once.
In short, I can either focus on Physics A and dry-run the SAT with previous knowledge I have from taking two PSATs, or I can focus on preparing for the SAT and run the risk of forgetting Physics A formulas in the middle of the exam.
